This Saturday Landscaping Continues On Bluefield Avenue, Low Country Boil and Special Invite from our neighbor

This Saturday October 25th we appear to have a great day heading our way as the Historic Bluefields Smartgrowth Crew tackles the largest landscaping challenge in our beautiful neighborhood - the main entrance common space. We have attached our design drawings that have been provided by our great working partners in this project JVI Secret Gardens and at this stage based on our budget (continued fundraising efforts) we are looking to complete Phase I on Saturday morning (at least). Keep in mind this is the most expensive of all 3 triangles due to size of area but it also will have the largest impact on drivers on Bluefield Avenue.

Both Phases are described in the renderings and this will complete setting the tone from one end of Bluefield Avenue to the other. Here are the renderings - hand sketched - but they should give you a good picture of the final design (and work ahead)..

Phase I - This Saturday October 25th, 2014 - 9:00 a.m.

We are meeting at the main entrance common area at 9:00 a.m. and please bring a shovel, rake, gloves and also sun glasses (as the road will be kicking up some dust as drivers go by)...

We are still continuing our fund raising efforts so if you can contribute to this final push on improving our neighborhood in 2014 please do so here (or send a cheque the BHA and identify Bluefield Avenue Landscaping) on the check...

See you on Saturday - lets do some great work together!
