Trash Collection:
Every Monday Morning (usually very early). On Public Holidays trash will be collected the following business day.

Brush Collection: 880-1000
Bluefields is in Route 4 of the Brush pick up schedule. See the calendar for next pick-up date.

Brush needs to be set out by the first day the collection trucks are scheduled to be in our area. Limbs must be less than 4 inches in diameter. No stumps will be accepted. Bulk Item Collection: 880-1000
Curbside bulk items collection is available with a limit of no more than six (6) items per address. For more details see www.nashville.gov/recycle/bulkitems.htm. There are also recycle convenience centers where up to three bulk items may be disposed of for free. Acceptable Items: Furniture, mattresses, stoves, refrigerators, air conditioners. Unacceptable Items: Scrap metal, household hazardous waste, construction and demolition material. Questions: 880-1000.

Curbside Recycling: 880-1000
Bluefields “Curby” day is ever second Monday each month. Please have your “green” recycle container on the street by 7:00 am. 

  • Acceptable items: Paper, newspaper, cardboard, aluminum and steel cans and plastic bottles.
  • Unacceptable: Glass, plastic bags, trash and yard waste. Glass and plastic recycling containers are located at Hobby Lobby at 4101 Lebanon Road.

Street light burned out: (NES) 736-6900
write down the number on the pole and then call NES. The only way they can locate the one you want to report is by the number on the pole. Call NES 736-6900 – 24/7 – customer service representatives will be glad to assist or use the online form to report the street light problem: www.nespower.com/securitylight.aspx

Neighborhood Watch: Please observe and report any suspicious activities in the neighborhood. Report a non-emergency crime to the Metro PoliceDepartment at 862-8600. Emergencies or crimes in progress should be reported to 911.
